To join IDBI Mutual Fund family of Distributors, you will need to get yourself empanelled as an authorized Distributor with us. The following are the simple steps for becoming as an associate:
Get yourself certified (if not previously done) and obtain an ARN Code from The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) (For more details: please visit www.amfiindia.com)
From June 1, 2010, NISM would be conducting Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination and this will be the mandatory requirement for all those engaged in selling and distributing Mutual Funds. Clearing the NISM test has been made mandatory by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and can be taken at different cities. (For more details: please visit www.nism.ac.in)
Once you get a ARN Number, you can empanel with IDBI Mutual Fund. For empanelling as a distributor, you have to submit the duly filled empanelment form along with the mandatory documents mentioned in empanelment form along with the copy of KYD Acknowledgement.
The deadline for completing KYD by the existing ARN holders has been extended by one month. All ARN holders are now required to complete the KYD process by March 2011. If the same is not completed by March 2011, payment of commission beyond March 2011 would be suspended till the KYD requirements are complied with. To know more about KYD process click here.
After the completion of empanelment process, the AMC will issue you a letter of confirmation on empanelment along with the marketing material kit (Forms, fact sheets, marketing material etc)
